West points cadets serve as the honor guard for sundays closing parade

Our troop attended the west point camporee last year in 2009 and we applied with hopes of getting in again this year but unfortunately we received an email from the Scoutmaster’s Council at west point stating that we had not been selected to attend this years camporee. With over 300 applicants and only around 120 slots the camporee staff has to be very selective and they try to have a very diverse invitation list. We plan to apply again next year and hopefully we will be accepted for the 2011 camporee.
