This morning our troop participated in our charter organizations scout Sunday service. We had five socuts and two leaders attend which wasn’t bad for it being winter vacation here. Our main role in the service was to act as readers for the call to worship and the opening prayer. Also, because it is the 50th anniversary of our troop on our current charter with the troop and the 100th anniversary of the BSA (in case you live under a rock) I decided to do a short presentation talking about what our troop has been up to in the past year and what we are planning to do. The church’s memebers really enjoyed it and they were very happy to have us there. All in all it was a very good service although hopefully next year we will have more socuts in attendance.
