Today marks four years from date the first tweet was sent on twitter. OK so many of us use twitter for scouting. I use twitter to promote my blog on my account @scoutdude. I also have a twitter account for my troop which I use to keep troop members (and anyone else who is interested) up to date with what we are doing. I find that my twitter use as far as scouting goes allows me to keep up with my scouting news better than just following websites using rss feeds, many times I have found out some random piece of scouting news on twitter that I would not have found without twitter. Also I feel that twitter allows me to get to know other Scouters (and scouts) from around the world that I would have never met otherwise. Twitter has allowed me to find some really awesome scouting people who I hope to meet during my scouting ventures someday.
